That is so kind and very much needed - thank you!!

I am not surprised you had a cry, it must be totally frustrating to be left in limbo like this. Not just having to go back to Canada for the period but then to have that extended for an unknown time too. On top of that i presume your partner had to stay here to work. Did you have to leave your job or have they been able to hold it open for you? So much up in the air for you but as with most women i know, including my three daughters, you are so much more than you think you are. You've got this Alanna, all will be well.

Adam Clark

To a reformed chef there are few things that are as delightful as the expressions pulled by people tasting something for the first time that is unexpectedly nice! Cheers for that! :)

Karmadyllic

Basically the same thing

Adventures and Naps

So strange that they're both different lol good to know, though!!

Adventures and Naps

Hi Alanna, great video again, did a bit of research ref. cup measurements and a Canadian cup is about 250 ml. here in England but the U.S. cup is slightly smaller about 245 ml.

Graham Lavers

I don't cry in the shower, but I do sing which probably makes everyone else cry... does that count?

Buzzers

Thank you Jennifer!!

I don't even like Ice Capps that much, but I tried it. It's spot on! #PraiseJennifer

I tried that whipped coffee that seems to be trending - or perhaps was trending. I was not a fan. Not sure if it was the crappy instant coffee or the loads of sugar in it, as I don't put sugar in my coffee. Too much trouble.

Cheers Tom, appreciate it!! Hope you can get gardening soon!

Adventures and Naps

That sounds so good!!

I worked at an Italian restaurant for a couple of years. We used the espresso coffee and put a scoop of ice cream (selected by the person, so it could be just about any flavor) in it to make our cheater cappuccino. The bosses thought I did a good job making them, but I wouldn't know, I don't drink coffee.

The Raven

Hi Alanna! Love the look on your face when something actually works 🙈😂😂 so surprised... I might give this a go, luckily I have an Ice crusher for making cocktails so I'll try it with that. I think we're all starting to feel a little helpless, although I'm still working so that serves as a useful distraction. I'm certainly looking forward to garden centres reopening here on Wednesday as gardening is a passion of mine. Anyway, chin up and a big thanks for all the uplifting content you create and are kind enough to share with the world.

Tom Hardie

I love how happy the ice-cap has made you. Take care.

Sven Linton

Yeah, I think I'll practice blending the ice without the coffee in so I can re-do it if I need to!

Adventures and Naps

A successful, "I can blend this! Sort of! But I blended a bit too much! But it's still good!" Glad the postcard got to you OK!

Adventures and Naps

Fair play! lol

Adventures and Naps

Oh no, she knows their secret!!

Adventures and Naps

I think it would be really similar to the sugary Starbucks stuff - could even get a bit fancy and add different flavoured shots to it! lol

Adventures and Naps

lol thank you!!! it was so good!

Adventures and Naps

Cheers Stephen!! We just had garden centres open, too. Wonder why those seem to be so high up on the list? Thank you so much for the support!

Adventures and Naps

Thank you so much, really appreciate it!!!

Adventures and Naps

Yay!!!

Adventures and Naps

If only we had those... might try barely blending the ice next time without any coffee in it, so I can re-do it if I mess up! lol

Adventures and Naps

That's a great point, thank you!

Adventures and Naps

Nothing wrong with a good cry every now and then lass. Sometimes a cry is as much needed as a good laugh. I think Costa Coffee calls then 'coffee over ice' but have many Italian names. If you make a large batch and keep it in the fridge, then just crush some ice when required and add some mix and enjoy.

Sven Linton

Well done! Glad to see it worked out so well! Maybe Try crushing the ice cubes with a pestle and mortar or a rolling pin or something?

Ar558a

Woohoo!! Success!!!

Thanks for a great video. I've been looking for a Hortons Iced Capp home cheat for ages, because the nearest one is in Glasgow, about 60 miles away. If you say this is close enough to Tim's then it's alright for me. I trust you 😉 Crying in the shower? Yeah I've done that. One of the better places 🤣😂 Hope the situation with regards the visa being able to be processed changes soon. Still keeping you in my 🙏 😉 You take care Alanna, stay safe.

Don Swanson

Hi, Alanna, that was great fun. Sorry to hear you were crying in the shower, or for that matter anywhere else. This lockdown does strange things to all of us and I can only imagine how frustrating it is waiting for your visa to progress. Again big cyber cuddles from all your Patreons. No firm news on lockdown changes here except Garden Centres in Wales can open and there are rumours that will follow in Engand. Not sure what else, there are rumours everyone arriving into the country, including UK citizens, will have to go into home quarantine for 14 days but definite update news expected tomorrow at 7 pm. Hope you have good Visa news soon. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Stephen Parker

Your face at 11:40 is priceless. The eyes say, "Wow. This changes everything!" And we can actually see your soul grow! Thank you, it really made me smile.

Isleworth Times

This looks great and so easy to make. Have to give it a try, but maybe with less sugar. Don’t think I had Tim Hortons before (been a while since I was in Canada), but used to like Starbucks Frappuccino, which I guess is much the same.

Shaun Garratt

I hope the Tim Horton's Goon Squad doesn't show up at Jennifer's House cause she shouldn't of messed with Timmy's Secret Recipe...🤫🇨🇦

Steve Mikre

I’ll stick to my cup of Tetley tea thanks 👏😀

Mike Smith

Great Video. The postcard was lovely and really cheered my day up. Anyone who has watching for any length of time and doesn't know what Tim Hortons is. Are they really watching? We have an ice marker in our fridge in the back kitchen (we have two) Is this a sucessful "I can bake this..."

Paul Brown

When you said 3 table spoons of sugar I was sure the recipe meant teaspoons and actually checked. Not it was table spoons 1/3 cup is 80ml You might want to practice the ice blending with ice and water so you can see the texture Glad you found something to bring you joy
