Oh buddy - this video really fought me! First the audio, then getting corrupted! It's cursed!

So sorry about the audio quality - my "VoiceOver" microphone is still in England so I had to improvise... might need to hold off on doing this types of videos until I'm back there again and reunited with my microphone!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!

Walking is so key for my mental health and especially during lockdown. I have done over 100miles in April! The houses are so pretty! and huge! Some of them are like the size half a street where I live!

Ar558a

Glad you liked it! I saw him on tour live last year - a really funny/sad/genuine story!

Thank you for the walk around the neighborhood, I love to see the small towns which grew up in the early 20th century. The UK is so fascinating because the small towns are so much older, and I could walk around them forever! I definitely recommend lots of walking in any case - away from all electronic devices. We all need time to think and let our brains unwind!

Ms Naps, I loved James Acaster's book, and it is of course very funny (and relatable if you grew up as a music nerd), but it's also quite sad and real. I hope you enjoy it though, it's kind of lovely.

Cheers David!!

Thanks Adam!!

Ugh, would love a pizza right about now! I know flour is selling out big time around here, not surprised about yeast either!

You're too kind, thank you!!

Thanks Steve!!

The area kinda reminds me of upstate New York. Thank you for starting my day with a A&N laugh and smile...🇨🇦

Do not worry about quality of audio or video, Alanna. We are patrons and we are happy to hear, read or see you. I suppose you make us happy with that, as for now. All of us are in a situation we did not want, and your situation is much worse than ours. Can I speak for all of us ? You will make us happy when we see you safe and sound in Kent again. Stay safe, my dear friend !!

Bread looked fantastic. Very rustic. I made homemade Pizza last week, but now I can't find yeast anywhere. I am going to go on the hunt for it early in the morning tomorrow. I have found early Sunday morning best time to get hard to find sundries at the store. Thanks for the videos, stay safe and stay positive !

No bread, just cake and more cake! I am still working too for now which i am sure has helped me to stay on an even keel. I hope you can find your inner peace through the meditation (or the cookies), it must be difficult to see the end of this at the moment. it was nice to see the outside, it looked like a nice area. Stay safe and happy.

That bread, dough. 👀 yum! Love how massive suburban Canadian houses are compared to ya typical London, UK home, so much spaceeeeeeeee. well Jel.

David Brant

Well i work in medical research so if i don't stay safe it will be my own fault. You stay safe to.

Thanks so much David!

Hope you stay safe Shaun!!

Thanks Simon! The bread was gone within 24 hours :)

Cheers Andrew! Homes and buildings that are about 100 years old get a special plaque, but I don't think many are that old... I think some of the old stone homes in town are about 1850s but the homes in the video would be much younger than those.

'Let's go!' What a perfect way to start a video. I miss it on your Patreon videos :-) Really good video, thank you - and great to see your local area. And as with everyone else, I had no issues with the sound.

David Young

Not made Bread yet, made a Chilli, made a Curry. Watched a film called Midnight Special on Amazon that was very good. Otherwise it's get up go to work come home go to bed , get up go to work etc.

Arthur Gatward

Hi, Alanna, that was really interesting and sounded fine to me. Your cookies look really great, hope you do a video with your friend when restrictions allow, I'm sure you could give her some tips. Idea for some videos, your description of the jigsaw and the creepy tale it evoked gave me the idea, how about a series Alanna tells a story. You could develop your creepy jigsaw idea into a proper story and tell it to us. I hope you're staying well and positive. If you're bored how about another You Tube live stream they are great fun. Great seeing those houses. Look after yourself and stay safe. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Interesting vlog as always, no sound issues for me. The bread looked great. Haven’t made any myself yet, but will be making a cake and some pizza dough later. Glad you are holding up OK under quarantine; for me, not too dramatic a change as I am still working my normal hours (am considered to be an essential worker).

Shaun Garratt

Sound quality was fine. It was interesting to see the houses. Very jealous of the bread

Simon

I loved seeing those houses in town, they look lovely. How old are they? The sound quality seemed just fine to me, but perhaps I just have old ears.
