I need subtitles!
Added 2020-04-23 18:00:02 +0000 UTCRecently I watched Wild Rose and really enjoyed it! I appreciated that the story felt quite authentic in all it's sad-grimy glory.
However, the Glaswegian accent was SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND! Half the time I would only understand a portion of every sentence... at least it's not a hard plot to follow. My poor Dad watched the movie with mum and I - he waited patiently until after it was over to tell us he couldn't understand them!

2020-04-23 18:08:09 +0000 UTCWhat a brilliant movie. Sorry you couldn't understand the accent. You have to really tune in once we start talking. The further North on Scotland the harder it gets. When you see Shetlanders or Dorics putting up things in Facebook, it gets really interesting to fathom out what they are saying.
