Ye', temperatures at the base can be very different to those at the top (as well as weather conditions). It's worth any temperature though to walk through the cloud base and sit at the top of the mountain looking across the tops of miles of fluffy clouds with other peaks poking through here and there.

I'm not sure about other areas of England, but in Cumbria we have the 'wind chill factor'. But also because Cumbria is so mountainous, we also have temperatures above 'x' thousand feet above sea level.

Hi Alanna, being in a lockdown situation (20 days and counting), I exit my hose to briefly shop and retreat. Today, I trundled on down to my premium supermarket for cheese! Being a cheese lover, I thought you might enjoy a new discovery. It's an English cheese, not cheap, but so friggin delicious its worth the cost. It's Wellseydale Lemon and Honey. I tasted this and nearly fainted it was so goid. A crmbly semi-soft chesse bursting with sweet lemony citrus. To die for. As good or better than any cheese I've ever eaten. Better then the best English cheedar and that's saying a lot! Find it and try it. You'll undoubtedly love it. Take care, stay safe.

Hey, cool vid Buddy. The knitted rectangle - fold it almost in half length-ways and sew up the sides, leaving enough to make a 'lid' like a long thin envelope. Add a button. Viola, you now have a nice soft glasses case to put your specs in overnight.

I hope you’re well and finding things to do. I also suffer from anxiety so I’m distracting myself with Netflix and music, my therapist says it’s ok to not be productive right now. Thanks for the video, I love all of them but right now they’re really helping me.

sorry for late getting back to you. Only a small minority speak welsh. Myself, very little in deed. I believe that Northern Ireland will be protecting it's native tongue too, thanks to Sinn Féin .

My first visit to Canada was with a buddy in his new MG sportscar. We drove to Maine and crossed on the ferry to St.John's, NB, where they have the extremely high tides on the Bay of Fundy. We drove to Halifax and toured the coastal sights of Nova Scotia. From there we drove north to the Gaspe peninsula where everything was French. Driving down through Quebec to Montreal then down along the St. Lawrence through Oshawa and too much traffic! Finally crossed back to the US near Buffalo. This was a great trip but being young we probably didn't appreciate all we were seeing. Would love to do this trip again and maybe take the train cross country to the west coast. I can recommend Nova Scotia if you ever get the chance to visit.

My GameBoy Advance is exactly like that one. I had the light that plugged into it so I could see the screen. LOL Only 640 pages/days left to fill. Everyone is writing a book and starting a business. Me, I'm just gonna read and buy that stuff.....
Wind chill in the flat parts of Texas is a big deal. The difference in air temp and wind chill is as large as what you get in Canada. Fortunately it does't get as cold here as Canada, though it feels like it some times. Maybe the wind speed isn't high enough in large parts of the UK for it to make a difference.
My two times "in Canada" were as part of cruises. On the Alaska cruise we had a stop in Victoria. I took a bus ride around the town looking at the highlights. That lasted about 2 hours and saw some cool buildings and learned some history I forgot about 20 minutes later. Second time "in Canada" was the end of a Hawaiian repositioning cruise. We got off the boat, onto a bus and straight to the airport. We walked through customs and were technically back in the USA. Ate poutine in the airport diner and it was fine. Also had some all dressed potato chips because it was a four hour layover. Liked those too.
TL;DR, video good! 😋

Never been to Canada but really want to go on the cross country rail trip, that would be awesome. Actually, watching you is the closest i have been to Canada! I see your accent is starting to really come out now. It is interesting to see how it develops over time. I hope you are not getting cabin fever too badly and you find plenty of interesting things to keep you busy and entertained. Whatever you do for You tube is going to be good, it always is. Stay well and happy.

Hey Alana. Hope your doing ok. Ive never been to canada, but i have flew over it when going to florida. Lol. I would like to go sometime to be honest. So maybe you could do a video on the touristy kind of places/things to see etc? Not just in Ontario but maybe other places too? Just a thought.
Stay safe.

I have only spent 3 days in Canada, part of a trip up the west coast of US, most Canadian moment. Getting on a bus in the poring rain, not knowing how much to pay or even how to. And the driver just wave me on
Given you have been paid for people to watch you cook I think technically you are a professional chef!

Unfortunately I've never been to Canada, so the best I can manage is: I knew I was in Greenland when I stepped out of the airport terminal and there was a dogsled in the carpark.

Hi, Alanna, that was great fun, you may not feel creative but you definitely are and your Best Buds Livestream was brilliant, those of you not Best Buds are missing out. Graham I knew I was in Canada in Saskatchewan in May and it snowed and felt colder than I'd ever known in the UK. Alanna you could adapt the book to 642 things to discuss on You Tube, pick a couple of them out and it would make an unusual video. When the kitchen is free you could make a couple of recipes from that book that would make a good video. You must tell us what goldfish are I though you meant the things that swim in a garden pond, I soon realised you didn't. Stay positive things will improve. Looking forward to your next video soon.
