Higher Self Revision of Hatred and Self-Hatred

Hatred is an intense and deeply rooted feeling of hostility or extreme aversion directed towards something outside of ourselves. It's far more consuming than simple dislike or anger as it often carries undertones of contempt, disgust, and a profound negativity.

The target could be another person, an entire group, an ideology, or even an abstract concept. It's usually intertwined with strong negative beliefs and judgments. The object of hatred is typically seen as fundamentally wrong, threatening, or even evil, and these thoughts continuously fuel the emotional fire. Its origins are varied – it might stem from perceived injustices, deep-seated fears, learned prejudices, traumatic experiences linked to the target, or even the projection of one's own unwanted qualities onto others. Hatred can manifest outwardly through aggression, discrimination, or violence, but it can also fester internally, poisoning the hater's own thoughts, energetic field, and well-being.

Self-hatred, in contrast, is this same destructive intensity turned inward, directed squarely at oneself. It's a pervasive sense of intense dislike, rejection, and often disgust for who you are, either in whole or in specific parts you deem unacceptable. Someone experiencing self-hatred more often than not view themselves as fundamentally flawed, worthless, inadequate, unlovable, or deserving of punishment. This feeling is relentlessly fed by a harsh inner critic, a constant stream of negative self-talk, and deeply held negative beliefs about one's own value.

It often exists alongside profound shame, guilt, hopelessness, and despair. Self-hatred frequently has roots in early life experiences, such as internalizing criticism, neglect, or abuse. It can also arise from trauma, relentless perfectionism, societal pressures, or be a symptom of mental health conditions like severe depression or PTSD. This inward-turned animosity can lead to profoundly destructive behaviors, including self-sabotage in life and relationships, self-harm, substance abuse, eating disorders, social isolation, and, in severe cases, suicidal thoughts and actions.

The idea behind this field is to use the intelligence of your Higher Self to perform a revision of both hatred and self-hatred. The idea is that by revisiting the moments of hatred and self-hatred inside you, your current self is updated to a lighter, more flourishing version of yourself.
