π¨ VTube Model Progress β The Good, the Glitchy, and the "What Is That?!" π€π₯
Added 2025-06-14 22:40:30 +0000 UTCG'day everyone! π
Just wanted to drop in with a quick update on my 3D VTube model project π§ π₯ β itβs been a wild ride so far! Things are technically going wellβ¦ but also chaotic, in the way only 3D modeling can be. π
The biggest issue right now? When I export my model (which has a bunch of separate objects π§©) into the VTube softwareβ¦ it breaks reality. π΅βπ« Pieces flying around, body parts stretched like noodles π, and the whole thing looks like it got pulled into a digital black hole π. Not exactly the polished vibe I was going for.
So, Iβve been experimenting with merging everything into a single object π§±. That does fix some problemsβ¦ but it also makes the model look like a lumpy space potato π₯β¨. Not ideal, but at least it doesn't explode anymore π₯.
For now, I might just roll with the "bad" version πππΎ β because even a broken model gets me further than no model. Itβs giving me something to test, learn from, and improve on.
This whole process has been a mix of creativity, confusion, and a lot of Blender and Unity head-scratching π€―π§. But Iβm learning as I go, and Iβm excited to keep pushing through!
Thanks for sticking with me ππ β and if youβre curious, I might even post some cursed screenshots soon πΈπ». If anyoneβs got Blender-to-VRM tips or just wants to scream about rigging with me, my inbox is wide open π.
π Onward through the chaos!

The Bad: The wings still bend down like that and don't know how to fix them to be straight. the main difference is the engine and the air intake. the red color was experimenting with materials in this software
