Got something pretty major I want to announce, which I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell everyone, but as people that financially support the channel I figured it's probably best as your support will be even more appreciated over the coming months.
But first, a general update! I've been enjoying the variety and it's nice to see one off videos doing as well as the regular games so it's something I'll be continuing. Work sucked this month and I have barely been able to stream, YouTube will always be my focus and I got pretty behind at one stage. All good now though and I'm hoping to be able to stream a lot more in the coming weeks. I had planned to have released new merch already, but again that was delayed. Hopefully we can expect that in the upcoming weeks, remember you have a 10% discount as a patreon supporter if there's anything you fancy!
So the big announcement... I've decided to take the summer off work as a sabbatical. This basically means I won't be getting paid for the next 5 months and will be relying solely on the channel. It's super terrifying having bills, mortgage, etc but now a beautiful pup to look after! But I'm literally the happiest I've ever been thanks to the channel and I'm super excited to put everything I can into the channel to make it work. I wouldn't be taking this step without you guys, so I want to say thank you, thank you for helping me achieve something I never thought I could. As I haven't quit my job, if the summer doesn't pan out as id hoped, i do have a job to go back to. Its a great safety net to have and hopefully it means no one will be guilt tripped into supporting me further etc. I probably wont be going public with this info, its just for you guys, but feel free to share the news if you wish.
What it means for the channel, in the first instance, it'll hopefully just mean more quality. I'm not planning on uploading more frequently yet. I want to take my time and create better, more thought out content. Though I assume with no other time commitments I will be able to upload more videos a week at some point, so yay!
Anyway, that was a proper wall of text. Well done for getting this far! Thank you all so much for helping me get to this point, fingers crossed we have a great summer!

2021-03-19 15:51:33 +0000 UTCNot really, generally there aren't many airports built so it isn't that common of a project to work on- at least in the UK. We nearly ended up doing some design for a new Heathrow runway but then we didn't for whatever reason, was a few years ago now!
