Annual Tournaments Description

When starting out a feature, I feel it's helpful to write it out in as much detail as possible. A lot changes by the time the feature is released, but this helps reduce the volume of change.

So here's the description of the annual tournament feature. I'd love your feedback, as this is the point where changes are the easiest to make.

The annual tournament, probably called "The Wrestling Spectacle" will feature 16 superstars in an elimination tournament across two nights.

Invitation

The tournament president will invite you via dialog one month before the tournament.

The president will introduce the tournament the first time (you can ask questions via dialog like how it works etc).

You can accept and select superstars, in which case the president will give you some points (~200-400) for participating. Or you can decline and other companies will participate.

Tournament

Each company and the indies will send superstars, with higher REP companies allowed to send more superstars.

Superstars will be seeded based on popularity/overness and company superstars shouldn't face each other in the 1st round.

The tournament will run after the fifth monthly event, creating two new shows (like tournaments/cashins do right now).

You'll be able to "play" the tournament, but won't be able to book or decide winners.

Match results will be simulated, based on popularity/overness, incentivizing you to send top superstars.

Each iteration of the tournament will be named e.g I, II, X, and past tournaments can be viewed under Manage, Company Stats & Talent Stats.

Uniqueness

The annual tournament will have custom event posters and previews.

The tournament president will have unique segments to introduce the tournament on night 1, tournament final introduction before finals and a winner ceremony segment.

The ceremony will have fireworks and will be a headline news item.

The tournament president will welcome you to the tournament and thank you post show via dialog.

The tournament's winner will get a trophy added to their graphic. This will last for 1 month.

Gameplay

During night 1, you'll have the option to spend points to: bribe host to increase winning chances (+30%, 1000 points) and re-book the bracket (300 points).

If a superstar gets injured, you or the AI will have to replace them with another superstar.

Winning the tournament will unlock artifacts, winning superstar will gain high pop/ovr/mor and winning company will gain fans.
