I'm glad you chose Colosseum. I don't think the Orre games get enough credit; they deserve remasters, or having the characters appear in the anime or manga. And yeah, the second half of XYZ was a total jumping the shark, with Serena truly showing how badly written a character she was in spite of best girl-ness (seriously, her whole character was liking Ash... and that was it), plot threads that were wrapped up too quickly or unresolved, characters getting wasted in excrusiatingly bad levels, and the bullcrap that was the Kalos League Finals. WHich I believe its negative feedback is the only reason why Ash won the Alola League later on. Also I much prefer Misty, May, and Dawn. Preferably at the same time. Don't at me. But I do see where you are coming from with Wes as well. He needed to break the Nintendo stereotype of a silent protag. Have some lines, so that his partnership with Rui and the goodness in him is more natural. Also like how you named your Meganium 'Caulifa' and your Raikou 'Kaminari'. You are a man of good taste.
