Change at the party

Inviting their friends to a small party, some of them had no idea how it would end. While waiting for the last person to arrive, Sabrina, Mark and Jasmine suddenly felt that something was wrong, but it was too late to do anything.

Standing in the middle of the living room, their bodies suddenly began to shrink, making everything around them bigger and bigger. In less than a minute, they noticed that all the furniture had become so huge to them, only to notice the front door slowly opening and someone entering the apartment. It was Kate. The last person invited to the party, who had arrived a bit late. Completely unaware of what had just happened, she walked slowly towards them.

“Hey? Is anyone here? Sabrina? Jasmine? Mark? Are you guys hiding from me? I know I'm late.. Sorry.. Or maybe.. are you about to jump out because you want to surprise me?” Kate asked, unaware that they were literally standing in front of her.

As they watched her slowly make her way towards them, and felt the floor shaking more and more, the terrified friends tried helplessly to get her attention, but they were too small to be heard.

“Kate! Please, look down! Here we are!” Sabrina screamed as loudly as she could.

“Oh god, she's so huge! Kate, look down! Don't step on us!” Mark shouted after a moment, seeing that she was getting closer and closer.

Seeing that their shouting had no effect, they suddenly decided to run out of her way to avoid being crushed under her foot. But just as they were about to do so, her huge foot landed right behind them, knocking Mark and Sabrina to the floor, while Jasmine was thrown into the air as she was closest to her foot at the moment of impact. In that one respect, it was their very lucky day, because if Kate had moved her foot just a little further away, she would have crushed them underneath.

“Hmm... Maybe they're just on the second floor?” Kate said unaware of what she had almost done when she looked at the stairs, and as she passed their tiny bodies a moment later, she slowly made her way upstairs.
