The Magia has had enough of the armored avenger meddling in their affairs. So, Madame Masque, a member of the Nefaria Crime Family, hired an assassin to kill Iron Man/Iron Woman as a way that both raise her reputation and get rid of a nuisance.

Okay, so unfortunately for everyone, myself included, I do not have the files for these drawings, which took a crazy amount of time for me to make the silver colored Whiplash. But anyways, I decided to make several fun recolors of my female Whiplash art, this includes the reference sheets which will be posted on Early Access in a little bit.

So with that out of the way time to call out all of the references... yay.

1st is the original that I made that has a purple Whiplash and a white and grey Madame Masque, I also made a green haired version.

2nd up is the 2nd version I ever made (I know it sounds dumb but I made this one a year after the original drawing) which is based on the 90s animated Iron Man show, more specifically season 1 Whiplash who wore a blue outfit, Madame Masque has a purple outfit.

3rd is where we get to actual stuff no one else has seen yet. The main thing here is that rather than purple or blue, this one is full black and has more similarities to the original Whiplash that the female Whiplash idea came from, Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I kept Madame Masque the same and even made a green hair alt.

4th is based on the cartoons, more specifically Iron Man Armored Adventures Whiplash and Madame Masque. Also, most cartoon Whiplashes share the same color scheme, mostly because there are only 3 versions of Marco Scarlotti's Whiplash, but also because the version from the 90s showed up in a black and red costume in season 2 of the 90s Iron Man show. I also made her hair dyed blonde because in the red and black version of the 90s Whiplash, he's shown with blonde hair.

5th and 6th are both mostly based on Anton Vanko's Whiplash, or more specifically the comic version who is covered in silver armor and has green hair. This one was also inspired by a fully white outfit for Whiplash too.

7th is based on the original versions of both characters from the 60s. I tried to get the colors to be a pinkish purple and orange for Whiplash and a blue and dark blue for Madame Masque.

The last one is based on the MCU version of Whiplash, more specifically the orange torn clothes look Whiplash had in Iron Man 2. Though it didn't look that great, so I changed it to have a dark brown with orange as a secondary color. As for Madame Masque, her recolor was hard to do since the character is barely like the original version at all. She does not wear a mask and isn't a part of the mob, she's an actress and scientist from the Agent Carter tv show who goes evil after being exposed to the Dark Force. Again she never wears a mask in the show and the closest thing to that is like a piece of clothe that covers a growing black scar on the side of her face, so her colors are based on the dress she has in that scene of the show.
