FREEBOOTER BOYZ, multipart set - February release #1

G’Day first mates,

I’d like to present you with the first major release for February! The hugely requested, multipart/multipose set; FREEBOOTER BOYZ.

You can load these boyz out with either ranged blastas, or if they need to get in close, give ‘em a pistol and a cutlas, or some other kind of smacking weapon. And because you’ll be needing loads of these boyz, the set comes with loads of parts so that you can make them all unique. Some legs even come with a spot for a pegged leg. There are a bunch of pegged legs to choose from, including a space rat with its own pegged leg! The set comes with a space rat dressed as a scrap parrot, because there needs to be one in every mob of pirate boyz.

No mob of pirate boyz is going anywhere without their katpin! The kaptin in this set has a big leather coat which makes him even more boss than usual. He can be built with a rippa klaw and pistol, or he can be a super special big bad kaptin boss armed with rippa blasta and ‘uge cutlas. He comes with a variety of heads plus an optional bosspole with a snotgob on lookout (are the lens caps on those binoculars?).

This massive set can make a huge amount of unique freebooter boyz armed with either melee or ranged weapons, including at least 9 boyz and 1 kaptin. All parts are interchangeable and posable. This set is even completely compatible with our mareen boyz multipart set.

This set is designed to be used in both your pirate orc armies, as well as regular orc armies. The set includes some elements from the classic pirate era of the 1700s (the odd pirate hat, pegged leg or hook), but this has been kept minimal and only to add flavour to the ragtag look of the set. These are space pirates! They plunder space in the 41st millennium. So, they have all kinds of sci-fi space scrap like bionics, helmets and tech they’ve found on their travels. They’ve been designed with as much character and personality as possible. One head is wearing two eye-patches, one has a bearded space rat clinging to his face, one has a wheel for a pegged leg, one is opening a bottle of fungi brew, one has a dredge helmet, one has one leg with one flipper and one has techno-shades. Their weapons are designed to look pirate-like yet fit in with regular orcs. The cutlasses are shards of metal bolted and welded together and the blastas have some inspiration from muskets, but with an orc shoota vibe. Enjoy looking through all the parts and finding the fun details that make this set so unique. 

This set will be added to February Legends’ MMF library. At the time of writing, it is just having the pre-supports finished up and as soon as it’s ready it will be automatically added to your library. The second major release for this month is the two dredge characters which are just around the corner.

One final note to all the new Legends. I just want to remind you guys that each month, there are at least two major releases. The first one usually drops in the middle of the month and the second one usually drops at the end of the month. Due to the size of this set, it’s a few days late this month. But you never have to worry, there has never been a month where your rewards weren’t delivered and there never will be. You’ll also notice I don’t make too many posts here during the month.
