Mezgike roadmap, October 2022

G'Day legends, I would like to show you a bit of a roadmap for what we're looking at over the next 3 months. As you can see, we're developing both the dredge and scrap ladz factions with each month. I'm excited to start bringing in some new factions next year. I want to show you this plan so you can get involved, discuss, let me know what you think, what you want, etc.

Not sure yet, trying to smash it out. Don't worry though, you will get it! And if you can't download it for whatever reason, message me and I will send it to you. Same goes for everyone :-) If you can't download your past releases, send me a message any time.

Mezgike

will the halloween gift only be available ON halloween? I'm away from home so no access to the download!!!

ProjeKtWEREWOLF

Noted :-) I would too

Mate great road map and concur with ProgenitorX with completing factions, or at least rounding them out a bit before having a break. If you are taking suggestions, I'd love to see an Aussie themed Guard Regiment

Thanks for this feedback and you make an excellent point. I see this happen too, I'm aware of it and I won't let that happen here. I am very focused on completing factions before I start any new ones, just letting you guys know that I do have some others brewing in the dungeons. All my factions will have a unique spin and lore. Lore is going to soon be developed further for both the dredge and scrap ladz. Up until now it's been quite basic, while we explore the tropes and visual elements of these miniatures. I'm ready to expand on that now. There will be history as well as characters. Imagine a dredge primarch. And the new factions that we'll explore soon, will too have lore and unique themes. I hope this will make people get behind the factions and help build them.

Great roadmap! I know you said you are excited for new factions and I would love to see your take on others as well, but please consider sticking to 2-3 factions at a time. I see this happen now and then where a designer will stretch themselves across too many factions for the amount of releases they do and it takes forever to finish any of the armies so I can never truly have a cohesive proxy army theme in a reasonable timeframe. If you do expand past 3 concurrent armies, I'd recommend focusing on the meta units at the time at the very least. Do you plan on putting a spin on the proxies like you did for the Dredge? For example: sandstone death robots, wooden/dryad anime mechs, etc. Regardless, your models are amazing! Looking forward to your modular Dredge and the rest of the Dredge army!

ProgenitorX

I reckon you'll be pleased with November and December! And I still have a couple of orc things for you in a few days.

Mezgike

As much as I like the look of the dredge, I am an ork boy. So I am a lot interested in ork releases. I am into grots, meks and heavy support units. Runt kanz sounds like a great plan.

I would play them as deathguard

We are all zombies down here ;)

James Rowley

Perfect, you could use the Dredge as an extra detachment or something. Or just slot them amongst the rest, they're all mates anyway!

Mezgike

That’s kinda what I was thinking, they have a very Death Guard vib, which I’m building 2000ish points worth of right now 🤣

Usually these are proxies. You could use Death Guard rules for The Dredge for example. Whatever you want.

Mezgike

Sorry, referring to the Dredge.

So here’s a dumb question, I’ve never played a faction that’s not official GW, so how do you play them?
