Busy week, but finally getting around to all my GUTS reactions. Saw yours on yt (as I have with Speak Now, Wednesday reactions, etcโฆ) but HAD to come join the patreon for the full emotional journey we all went on ๐. Anyways as a big Olivia stan and unapologetic defender (top .005% in 2021 and 0.001% in 2022 - yeah, donโt ask about my mental sanity ๐คช), I loved it, and I agree, this is the โdark purpleโ version. LOVED Sour, and this really blew my expectations (and broke and smashed my heart to pieces). It def drew a LOT of controversial opinions but growing up with pop punk and growing up feeling a lot of the same feeling she sang about, GUTS really just hit something in me, and Iโm obsessed. She has such a way with words and putting emotions into her voice and her lyrics and listening to this was quite the emotional journey. Also, I forget where, maybe Caitlin or Bevโs patreons, but I saw a comment that at the end, the baby is apparently Danโs daughter Saoirse. Apparently, she said in a life stream a while back that when life and her success and the craziness and everything got like LOUD and her life was spinning out of control, she and her innocence and playing with her is what really kept Olivia grounded and sane, and that (alleged) fact and in teenage dream nonetheless really makes it hit extra deep ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ
