Imagine telling your mom "hey, i'm out most nights fighting vampires, and some day i will probably die and not come back home" not sure she would be too keen on it, even if you had slayer strength.

Why would you expect his interaction with Jenny to be any different? That’s why it’s so fucking good! Ugh, it gets me every time.

2023-09-08 18:13:49 +0000 UTCNow that you've seen the whole episode, I would suggest going back to the walking/talking scene of Buffy, Giles, Xander, and Cordy at the school and listen to all the advice Giles gives Buffy about how to deal with Angel coming after her. They pretty much spelled out Giles' entire reaction to what happens right there early in the episode. I loved that writing choice. Great reaction!
