A piece about trauma, moving on, learning to live, learning to trust, learning to be okay with imperfections, rebuilding a life, being part of something bigger, support. Honestly, it's about a lot, which is partially why it took so long.

Ideas and art like this require a bare minimum of respect. What amount of respect would be considered "enough"? I try to work regardless of whether or not I'm emotionally capable of generating such respect, but sometimes it's just like, "wow, I'm not ready to work on this." and I psych myself out. I can't thank Tur enough for their patience, honestly. I'm glad I didn't rush it either, as it allowed me to make exactly what I wanted this piece to be.
