In hindsight, I do need to learn a lot more about painting foliage, but this is still good to me as the foliage is on the borders and background of the image. I just wish I was a little better at it for the sake of this image.
I do however feel like I nailed that focal point. It's got the exact right amount of expression in color and in spite of the light sources being in the image, right at the focal point is directly where your eyes go.
The timelapse video will be coming out this Saturday, so I hope you'll enjoy that as well!
