Mood board- so for this I want touch, I want light atmosphere, I want tender soft colors, and clouds!
Refining the sketch- I'm trying to limit how much time I spend on the lines and keep it strictly to detailing out important shape information like the hands and face since the hands are important for that sense of touch and the face is something almost everyone will spend their time looking at! BUT NO MORE THAN THAT!
Colors 1- Just getting the basic colors down. Flats almost but with little fleks of color here and there. sketch layer set to multiply!
Color styling- I like to make rainbows out of a single local color. So that's what I'm going to do.
Colors 2- Filling in the flecks of color I want making up the total of my local colors. Creating a rainbow effect while maintaining what the local color reads like
Colors 3- Honestly just cleanup really!
