Patreon's Stability - Please Read

This is being written to remind that I have a Patreon alternative at Subscribestar, in the event that something happens with Patreon. Generally speaking, Patreon's been in an unstable state for a bit, and it just got more unstable.

If anything happens to Patreon, you can find me there. I've been mirroring what gets posted here, now, for a long time, over there.
Short version: Patreon is being held responsible for funding the legal expenses of hundreds of arbitration cases, individually, due to California law and their own terms of service preventing class action suits, back when they were axing accounts for political speech they didn't like. Agree or disagree, it's not the point. The point is, they're in a financial corner that could bankrupt them and put the site's future at risk, and it's the bed they made for themselves.
This is being posted in case Patreon goes under, or changes ownership to those less friendly to what I do. I'm sure alternative sites will pop up left and right, and in fact, some already exist. But Patreon has a good interface and services by comparison.
Nonetheless, if anything happens to Patreon and you want to keep supporting me and seeing new stuff, you can find this account mirrored on Subscribestar:

2020-08-01 10:33:35 +0000 UTCSince tomorrow is the day that Patreon sends out the monthly charges, I'm going to wait a couple of weeks but I probably will follow you to Subscribestar. I've started becoming more and more disillusioned with Patreon ever since I heard that they closed a couple of artist's pages and kept all the money that was pledged to those artists because they didn't like something they said or did elsewhere. What someone does at another site shouldn't matter one whit to this site. At least, that's my opinion.
