Sick Day

I had plans to work on the next set of images, but then I came down with something horrible last night. I'm spending the day in bed, but I should be able to get the work done tomorrow.

That's the thing when you're a teacher, you catch everything and my immune system has always been fragile. I see about 150 students a day (roughly 30 students per 5 periods). I enjoy my job, it gives me a sense that I'm making a difference in the lives of kids that will grow up to become the next generation of adults in society. Now, I don't work at the school every day, I'm a substitute teacher that schedules my work days based on a school's request in the district. But, even as a sub, I'm still happy when I can help a student with a math problem or look over an essay.

I also enjoy this work, my Patreon, my passion project. I love crafting a story and sharing it with you all. I get that sense of accomplishment with every post and completing each series. This has been a fun experience and I look forward to many more years of this.
