Steven I would love for an album reaction to Fever Dream by Palau Royale. But the album has to be listened to front to back straight through. If not a reaction, just go listen cause I know you’ll love it

Loved the reaction. if you can, on camera or off, you should check out all of her music vids. I love the visuals. You’ve already done hot to go and SGUMG. The other songs with music vids are:
Red wine supernova
Causal (my fav)
My kink is karma
Pink pony club
Naked in manhattan
California (technically a lyric vid but it still has visuals)

You need to react to her latest single, Good Luck, Babe! It's very Kate Bush esque

ahhh so glad you sat down and took the time to listen to chappell! i'm so so glad to see more and more reactioners listen to her and to see her finally get her flowers. so pink pony club isn't a physical place it's more of a metaphor for a place where you can be who you are no matter who you like and can go live your dreams. something she didn't get to experience back home living a small conservative midwestern town. for many of us it's a queer anthem about just being able to be safe and free. iirc chappell wrote it after her first time in a gay club. as for california i'll have to give you some backstory on chappell so i hope you don't mind the long comment! so when chappell first got a record deal she moved to la and made her first single pink pony club. unfortunately it came out in april 2020 and you know what we were doing around that time. unfortunately with it not getting much traction and not being able to perform live or do any real promo bc of the panini she was dropped from her label. at the same time her long time boyfriend broke up with her. and because all of that happening at once she felt defeated and moved back to her hometown in missouri. in that two years being back home she worked on this album, discovered her sexuality, and came back to la ready to record the album of the year imho. she's got a strong vocal range and the album truly has a perfect amount of everything and relatability for everyone! now that you've reacted to the entire album you should absolutely watch the tiny desk it's fantastic! there's also the good luck babe single that came out in april and a iconic live performance she did of it on jimmy fallon last month. also if you're willing to react to a longer full set performance her coachella week one performance is iconic and i have that on google drive if you're interested. once again thanks for the reaction and sorry for typing your ear off 💙
