Anna Jay Contract Update

Fightful reported in late November that sources in AEW believed Anna Jay’s contract was to expire relatively soon. Soon seemed to be within the next six months, as we’ve confirmed that the deal is set to expire in Spring 2026.
We’re told that people became aware of her upcoming contract situation after Anna Jay was hopeful she’d be involved in the Blood and Guts match, which didn’t happen. She and partner Tay Guevara have not been on AEW TV since. We've not heard that the two are connected.
Those we spoke to originally believed the deal would be up by 2026, but that isn’t the case. We have spoken to sources who indicate she’s open to exploring her options. She does have connections within WWE and NXT, we're told.

Ehh, I think had Pillman stayed he'd have just remained the same, character-wise. Trading on his father's name and generic 80s look. While I'm not a fan of his current gimmick, you can't deny being a heel hasn't worked wonders on his presentation (minus that ridiculous facial hair). And while Julia Hart has obviously benefited from Varsity Blonds splitting up, can you really consider The Frat House a step up for Garrison? Let's be honest, that team mainly exists to trade on Preston Vance's looks and Jacked Jameson's party-hard gimmick. Griff is there because he needed something to do. And they can't be doing that well if the only time they're on AEW television is to play the role of enhancement talent.
