What's next for TNA wrestling and some contracts

Now, the company has a lot of talent to retain.
Fightful Select has reported that The Rascalz, Steve Maclin, AJ Francis, Jake Something, Jody Threat, Mustafa Ali all had contracts coming up within a one month period for TNA. There have already been some conversations, but with others, not so much.
In addition, tag team champions The IInspiration's deals expired after Bound For Glory, as did Cedric Alexander. So TNA has a heavy slate of talent to get re-signed. There are also talent like Rich Swann and Matt Cardona who have not signed contracts since joining TNA.
Fightful Select is told that a number of conversations are expected to happen over the next week regarding the contracts coming due, and possible extensions moving forward. A couple of talent told Fightful that they wanted to wait until the new TV deal was announced before they start negotiating.
Fightful learned that TNA had been eyeing new talent such as Bear Bronson, among others as well.

I think we'll see AEW not re-sign a few lower carders who have a lot of TV experience, who'd be a benefit to TNA long-term, whether or not they'd rise up the card. This might also happen with NXT talent who don't get renewed, but I think they'll be more selective with that crop. Also, I think Mike Santana goes to WWE, likely in a Joe Hendry-esque timeline. Slow transition.
