Details On Sting's Son Steve Borden And His Immediate Wrestling Future

Steve Borden is continuing his wrestling journey.

Last year, Darby Allin confirmed to Fightful that he had been working directly with Steve Borden, the son of Sting. While Darby climbed Mount Everest, Borden continued his training, and had his first official match recently. That isn't a one-off, as we've confirmed he's got another upcoming booking.

Borden will be competing at DEFY AEON on Friday, November 21 at Washington Hall in Seattle, Washington. This will mark his first appearance for a independent promotion, as his debut was at an art show. Borden is taking on a fellow Darby Allin-trainee in Kiran Grey.

Borden also played tight end at the University of Kentucky, and appeared in his father's final match at AEW Revolution in 2024 as Wolfpack Sting. He and his brother and Father accepted the 2024 Gear Of The Year Award from Fightful.
