MJF expected to be back sooner than later

MJF will be returning from Hollywood (or Winnipeg) sooner than later.

A couple of weeks ago, Fightful Select reported that MJF’s Violent Night 2 film was set to wrap filming “soon.” We weren’t sure what that meant for MJF in an on-screen capacity, but in following up we were told that he is set to return “soon,” although that could be relative to the sources indicating it. A specific date was not announced.

It was noted to us that MJF has caught the acting bug and has really enjoyed it. He’s landed roles in Violent Night 2, Happy Gilmore 2 and The Iron Claw. He’s expected to continue acting while balancing his wrestling schedule.

MJF is at least factored in to AEW’s plans by December, though the extent of that or the level of which he’ll be around isn’t known to Fightful at this stage.

MJF is scheduled for WrestleCade in just over two weeks.
