A recent opening for Manager of Live Events was posted for AEW. Any word what has happened with that position to cause for the opening? Was the previous person moved out or was it being handled by someone else? Didn’t Jeff Jarrett handle that role back in 2023-2024?

I could be wrong here, but I'd heard quite a while back that Jeff Jarrett has been in a talent-only role for quite some time. He hasn't wrestled in AEW since the ill-received angle with MJF, but has worked a few other shows. He also does community events and the pre-shows. But I don't think that he's in that role now and hasn't been in a while.

Do you know if there are any whispers of wwe at least attempting to have a conversation with aew regarding using Adam Copeland for a match with John Cena? Especially after wwe's post of their rivalry.

Nope. There have been no conversations, and no conversations about conversations. It's not a possibility and hasn't been broached outside of "is he under contract?" Tony Khan wouldn't allow something like that to happen, and shouldn't considering the nature of which WWE has attempted to undermine them. WWE wouldn't let Lex Luger on camera for Sting's last match. There was never a possibility of Copeland vs. Cena.

If it were up to you and no company was off limits, who would you pick to be Tanahashi’s final opponent? Mine personally would be Shibata. Not because it’s the biggest drawing match, but because of the contentious history those two have

Shibata would be incredible and emotional, but I think the answer is Kazuchika Okada, and they made the right decision. They've had no less than a dozen matches themselves that could have been match of the year contenders. Doing it one more time, leaving it all on the table, and having another Wrestle Kingdom classic is the way to go. Other than that, whoever NJPW sees as their anchor for the next few years, whoever that may be.
