Select Answers: Talent holding back. LA Knight in trouble? Talent coming back to WWE

Idk who this decision would fall on talent, booker, producers? But is there such thing as talent holding back or being told to “hold back” on tv matches in wwe/aew? Which would ultimately lead to going all out at a future PLE/PPV.

I don't hear about that much at all these days, but yes a coach or booker can encourage that. It can be advice given from wrestlers. A common one I hear is that a vet will tell a younger wrestler to "work bigger" or "work like a heel," and it doesn't always work for them. Back over a decade ago, women in WWE would regularly be throttled and told to "work like girls" instead of trying to do too much. No. Even if he was, what are they gonna do? Make him lose two matches a night instead of one? They're paying the guy good money and swimming upstream to avoid pushing him. He's still stayed over no matter what. He's certainly not going to get in trouble for holding a sign regarding a guy he's had a program with on WWE TV.

Hey Sean, this is more of your opinion then a question, but do you see wrestlers like Blair Davenport, Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin finding their way back to WWE in the future?

Well I'm not sure what Cora Jade is going to do moving forward. She's taken a break from pro wrestling. I don't think she'll get back to WWE without wrestling. Blair Davenport I think has a really good chance, especially as she's staying active in Japan. Gigi Dolin I would almost just expect to come back eventually. I think she'll continue to do indies, and probably make TNA and maybe MLW appearances for a while.
