Latest We've Heard On Private Party-AEW
Added 2025-10-30 00:39:38 +0000 UTCPrivate Party have been on ice since losing the TNA tag team titles.
Niether Marq Quen or Isiah Kassidy have wrestled in AEW since January, and only have wrestled once in HOG since then. However, throughout 2025, they’ve still managed to make major headlines.
First, it was that their contracts were up relatively soon by Wrestling Observer in the Summer. Shortly after, Fightful Select learned that WWE had maintained interest in them. Then, they’re LARGE physique turned heads.
Since then, we’ve been asking for updates. We’re told that the latter element could be partially attributed to Hurt Syndicate, who seemed to have taken a liking to Private Party. One of the teams that MVP made no secret he and Syndicate wanted to work with again was Private Party, and sources had indicated Syndicate advised Private Party to spend more time in the gym to improve in their careers. Those familiar with the situation claimed that Hurt Syndicate have been very helpful to them.
Regarding their contracts, Fightful Select is told they’re both still under contract, but that things could get foggy after that. It was implied that the two wrestlers have deals that don’t expire around the same time, or there’s at least the possibility they wouldn’t because of injury time. We haven’t heard their preferences about staying with or leaving AEW.

If they staying in AEW, the only real option is to put them with Hurt Syndicate. Lashley and Shelton don't need to be in the tag division. You let Private Party handle that division and then you have Bobby and Shelton go after singles gold
