Any status updates on Red Velvet? She's probably challenging Mercedes when she gets back for the roh women's tv title right?
I'm assuming you didn't see it before her announcement, but she revealed that she is cleared, and considers herself the real ROH World TV Champion. Now obviously if you're Red Velvet, you're going to try to position yourself in a match with Mercedes, if knowing you're going to be booked to lose. That should be what happens considering Mercedes Mone has the interim ROH World TV title. What I wonder is if Mercedes will carry both the interim and regular belt and count them both, even though in reality, she'd just be unifying the two. I'm going to assume she'll carry both for the sake of doing it.
What’s up with the PWI story about wwe wanting to keep Andrade ?
The story was that they've heard from people in the Mexican wrestling world that believe that WWE will utilize this in an effort to keep Andrade and bring him back. Especially after he appeared on AEW. If they did that at this point, it would just be petty. They had no intent to use him again and had fired him. To be fair, I've heard from people in WWE that they don't have any plans to use him.
TNA Wrestlers are regularly showing up on NXT, and many have wondered how the pay works. This is especially interesting for a number of talent that are appearing on NXT after being recently released by WWE. There has been plenty of discussion and cynicism regarding WWE simply using talent at a reduced rate now that they’re gone from the company.
I've not confirmed how NXT talent are paid on TNA, and a number of NXT talent have told me that they haven't been paid extra. Ridge Holland was one of the wrestlers who hadn't been paid extra and ended up getting hurt. For TNA talent, there's an amount they're provided if they are booked, one if they wrestle, and one if they're the main event of the show. That was the process ahead of NXTNA Showdown.
