How the NXTNA pay works
Added 2025-10-26 00:22:02 +0000 UTCTNA Wrestlers are regularly showing up on NXT, and many have wondered how the pay works.
This is especially interesting for a number of talent that are appearing on NXT after being recently released by WWE. There has been plenty of discussion and cynicism regarding WWE simply using talent at a reduced rate now that they’re gone from the company.
Fightful Select inquired about the payout structure, even if there is one for TNA wrestlers in NXT. We were told that the talent that appear are paid for the appearance, and it goes up based on what they do. Appearing (or being brought in and not used) is the lowest amount, and then it goes up if you wrestle. If you end up in the main event, that’s a higher amount. So the TNA men ended up walking away with more than other TNA wrestlers on the Showdown show, because they closed out the night.
There have been a number of NXT talent who tell us they were not paid additionally to appear on TNA. However, we can’t guarantee that’s the case across the board.
To be specific, WWE is paying the TNA talent to appear on NXT.
