A Kind Of Funny Contract Update In TNA, MLW News, WWE, More

Recently we reported the confirmation on a TNA contract….but this could be akin to the Abraham Simpson meme.

Fightful Select has noted of late that a number of TNA talent are working without contracts with the company. Including some that are in the NXTNA storyline. However, it was revealed that Cedric Alexander was in fact signed to the company.

But for how long?

Not that long, as it turns out. Sources in TNA reached out after the contract story was published to confirm that he was in fact signed to a deal, but that the deal is up around the time of Bound for Glory. As of now, Cedric would be a free agent. It was noted that TNA is hoping and expecting to retain Cedric.

There are a number of deals in TNA that are actually up around Bound For Glory that they're working to get renewed. Short term contracts are becoming far more common in TNA.

Naturally there are always rumors and speculation to Cedric joining AEW and Hurt Syndicate, which we're told the members want, but hasn't happened as of yet. It isn't in the immediate plans.

• We're told that there will be a "big debut for the company" tonight for MLW.

• MLW has started to do some site surveys for additional cities, with Cincinnati possibly coming soon.

• It was claimed to Fightful that Edris Enofe and Jazmyn Nyx’s departure weren’t a part of a grander series of departures.

• There were positive reactions to Steve Borden Jr (Sting's son) and his in-ring debut. Obviously he's close to Darby Allin, who had a hand in preparing him for the match.

• Fightful is dropping an interview with the Usos on Tuesday.
