Is anyone ever going to explain why Britt baker vanished from Tv and will seemingly never return?

I think it's pretty clear why Britt Baker vanished from television. She was brought back, had a highly publicized altercation with MJF, put in a huge match with Mercedes Mone and it wasn't good. Then after that, she had the Serena Deeb program, and was caught on cameras and mics saying "nobody cares." Now, that's certainly left open to interpretation, but that's what happened, and it was too much for AEW at the moment.

I think that AEW has to shoulder some of the blame there putting someone who had barely wrestled in a year, and had worked through injuries for years before that in a major match without appropriate reps. I do think we'll see her again, and I think that how extreme people go to minimize anything she's accomplished or done is very weird. She's done a lot in AEW, and can be a great contributor.

Can you confirm the rumors that WWE asked for the guy that gave them a C grade for wrestlepoolza on ESPN to be fired?

If anyone reading this knows where this is coming from, please let me know in the comments, because they're absolutely lying. I asked Andreas Hale directly, and he said it wasn't true. I asked higher ups in WWE, they said that it wasn't true. There are plenty of things WWE hasn't liked that myself or other people have reported or said, but to their credit, I've never heard them complain about a fair review dating back the ten years I've been reviewing shows. Also, they'd get sued like crazy if they had him fired. They do not care that much.

Regarding Jazmyn Nyx, did you ever hear any reason for why they didn't offer her more money on a new deal compared to what she already had been making? I think its kind of ridiculous that WWE didn't offer her any pay increase. How are you supposed to expect to retain talent if you don't reward them with a reasonable raise on their next deal?

I didn't get a specific reasoning, outside of a hint that the contract would "start out" at what they offered, and likely escalate. They're negotiating a little bit differently than they used to. They're certainly willing to let talent walk and replace them, especially anyone under the top levels. I was told that if she got brought up to the main roster, the salary would have increased four to five times the amount.

We remember the article written on ESPN After wrestlepaloza grading the event a C … there would be no reason to let a writer go or punish them for writing an article on a review of a show .

Remember that video with Anna Jay from a house show that was so bad and got all that attention? Britt’s match with Mercedes wasn’t much better. Meanwhile, Anna went to Japan, did the work and came back looking fantastic. Britt has been at this too long to be so lacking in-ring. She was a big fish in a small pond back in 2020, but times have changed and the AEW Women’s division is LOADED with talented women that work their asses off and without the attitude. Time to move on.
