TNA and NXT had their invasion angle kick off, which we're told will be a long term program involving the two sides.
TNA is building to their upcoming Bound For Glory show, and it has been noticed by TNA fans that there is no taping scheduled immediately after Bound For Glory. However, in November, TNA has Orlando scheduled without a venue listed. Fightful Select is told this isn't an accident, as there is an extended plan to continue this angle well through Bound For Glory.
We can't speak to what exactly, but we were told to not be surprised to see something unconventional or different for TNA TV following Bound For Glory. If the shows were at the WWE Performance Center, they wouldn't be listed on ticketing sites as of now.
There is expected to be an accelerated NXT presence on TNA programming too.
There were many familiar faces back at NXT that had not appeared during the TNA/NXT partnership, as well as some notable names left off. We're told there were some talent that WWE preferred to not have featured. We have been told that the Hardy Boyz have also been pitched to appear during the angle as well.
Notes
PWInsider has reported that Jazmyn Nyx has finished up with WWE and her contract will expire without being renewed. It was intimated to Fightful that her deal will be up in October.
Roman Reigns is set to finish filming Street Fighter tomorrow, PWInsider has reported. We can confirm that. He's not expected to be on Smackdown this week.
Andrade is eligible to appear elsewhere pretty well immediately. He's booked with HOG and the CRASH.
Those we spoke to in TNA said that Masha Slamovich's match is in question due to domestic abuse allegations. Sports Illustrated's Jon Alba reported that TNA told him they were launching an internal investigation. WWE has paused any plans to involve her in the invasion angle, as well.
MLW News
Blue Panther will be working with a mask in MLW, similar to AEW, despite losing his mask in Mexico.
Blue Panther will be defending the MLW National Openweight Title in LA for MLW’s return.
There was a rumor going around that Dijak was upset after the Dallas show. In reality, he was just staying in character. The main event ended with Mads Krule Krugger and Dijak brawling through the crowd and outside the building, before Hammerstone attacked Mads. When it wrapped, Dijak had to make his way back inside. To keep the illusion alive, he acted furious about Mads cashing in as Atlas Security escorted him back to the locker room.

More NXT talent on the main roster? They kinda barely use some they have already. Lol
