Was the rumors I read not to long ago about Aew intergenerational tag titles just a rumor?
I've not specifically heard about these title belts themselves from people in AEW, but I know that they had a bunch of title belts that were just already made, so it's possible. I have heard there are no current plans in doing those titles.
Is there any interest in Lena Kross from AEW?
She made a good impression from what I understood. She's done the same with TNA. If TNA maintains heavy interest in her, it will put the pressure on other places to sign her. If they don't, there isn't as much of an incentive. But she's made some really great waves in some important places.
I’m very interested in the business side of wrestling. How are Indy wrestlers paid? I know it varies based on talent, but I have heard people claim it’s as low as $50 match.
It's not "as low as" $50. Sometimes it's lower or nonexistent. There are hundreds of indie wrestlers that work for free every weekend. Hundreds more that work for less than $50. If you're a former WWE talent, you're getting a much better rate, but it always varies. That's if you get a good, reputable, honest promoter, though. Every indie wrestler should be looking at additional revenue streams, carpooling, and getting as much experience as possible.

2025-09-21 21:10:54 +0000 UTCIn the late 90ss and early 2000s I wrestled in the Midwest and Canada and a lot with guys like Punk, Pearce, Jacobs, and Cabana. Decent promotions like Mid American Wrestling and IWA Mid South I'd get about $70-80 and that's driving 4 hours each way. The promotions in the Detroit area I'd get $50-75. The lesser popup promotions was a roll of the dice. $20-$50 was common. Indy wrestlers don't do it for the money. Getting paid something was more out of principle than anything. You could go out afterwards and have a little money to spend. It's crazy though, all these rinky dink shows can lead you to making millions. I still catch myself in awe sometimes when I see Punk and Adam Pearce on national TV every week and remember when we would wrestle in a Knights of Columbus bingo hall type place with low ceilings so you couldn't do top rope stuff. Pro Wrestling is amazing like that. Keep dreaming, grinding, working your craft, and all those experiences can get you to live your dream and get paid significantly. It's really something special.
