Any idea what Joey Styles is up to? Do you see him ever returning?
At one point in recent years, he'd worked in medical sales, and is known as an excellent sales person. He hasn't been interested in coming back to wrestling. I do know that a few years ago there was some real optimism that he'd be doing a podcast covering the history of ECW. However, for whatever reason, that didn't end up happening. There are some within the industry who say they remain in contact with him.
What do you think will main event Wrestlepalooza & what do you think should main event Wrestlepalooza?
I think that CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch should main event WrestlePalooza. It's the most buzzworthy match, and the one people are most people are interested in. I also believe that Brock Lesnar would be very happy to go on first and then get the hell out of Indianapolis, or wherever it is that he is that isn't home. However, since running this, Brock/Cena was announced as the main event.
I have one question in regards to AJ Styles. When his contract is up in February, I see only 1 of 4 things happening. Of course I could be totally wrong but I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on the most likely scenario. 1) He signs another contract extension 2) He signs with AEW 3) He transitions to a backstage role in WWE that wrestles on occasion 4) He retires
I don't think he's retiring in the coming months, I think he's having fun with the audience. I believe AJ Styles will wrap up his career in the next couple of years, though. In my heart, I think he will shop himself, and get his last big money contract out of that retirement tour, so to speak. He's already set for life, I would imagine. But even at 48, he can command big money in the industry.
