Do you sometimes withheld information/news on an upcoming surprise return at show X, so you don't spoil it for the fans or are you just dropping hints or do you always report them, when you know about them?
A lot of times it depends on the situation, and how things are affected after that. Sometimes talent find out that I know, and offer to provide additional information after the fact if I hold off on reporting it. More often than not I'm willing to do that, or an interview about the situation. I think people that have seen our reporting know that even if we don't break the news, we're the best at getting additional information and taking the temperature on situations. There are also plenty of times I hear off the record about things happening, and just can't report it until I get it elsewhere.
With Indianapolis getting WrestlePalooza, could that impact the city still getting SummerSlam and WrestleMania in the future? Could it be a similar situation to New Orleans getting Money In The Bank in replace of WrestleMania?
So far, the claims internally are that this will not affect the plans to run a Summerslam or a Wrestlemania in Indianapolis. However, we've seen cities that think they're getting something, and even cities that were planned for WrestleMania outright changed if the deal is better. From everything I understand, Indianapolis is very committed to bring a lot of WWE shows to the city, and still plan on WrestleMania and Summerslam.
Any opinion on the Stephanie McMahon VPN-gate? Does ESPN care
One source that I spoke to in ESPN wasn't thrilled with it, but said that it actually hit their radar quite a while back, around the time that they were negotiating bringing the PLEs over the ESPN early. That's just one person, and ESPN is a big entity, so it's hard to tell how that reflects on everyone else. I wouldn't expect those to continue long term. Also, NordVPN.com/Fightful is better anyway!!
