I wish they had waited 58 years. So I would be dead when it came out.
Three minutes into the movie, Adam Sandler accidentally kills his wife in a flashback scene by hitting her in the face with a shanked golf ball. It's supposed to be both absurdly hilarious and sincerely tearjerking. It's neither, and the movie never recovers.
MJF plays Adam Sandler's son, and he might be the best actor in this thing.
Bad Bunny plays Adam Sandler's caddy. He's pretty good.
Becky Lynch plays an evil golfer with surgically altered hip ligaments. And yes, that IS just as stupid as it sounds.
The movie is bloated, and paint-by-numbers, and IMMEASURABLY dumb.
But IS. IT. CINEMA???

Somehow this movie made me think the first one was kind of clever and subtle in comparison
