Why do you think aew has been more successful in securing the free agents lately?(josh, speedball, ace, knight…) what is regal doing??😂

Well, WWE has been able to procure people like Blake Monroe and Ricky Starks, and literally all of AAA, so they're doing fine. On any given year, you never know what WWE is actually looking for. I know they have their eye on some free agents, but they love creating their own stars in their own image as much as possible. Even with regime changes, that has stayed steady. I also think considering the fact that 90 percent of the talent Triple H brought back in 2022 left, it showed them that they wanted something different. I don't think it's fair to say they haven't been successful in free agency. Acquiring an entire company certainly helps that out, and they did that.

Hey Sean, do you see AEW improving their production soon? Venues still look too dark when full, and audio sometimes doesn’t highlight a hot crowd well. Maybe I’m just being picky here

I don't think you're being picky, but there are some people that think any tepid criticism is picky. The presentation and visuals have long been an issue of mine with AEW. The camera quality looks lesser than some other places. I'm not sure if that's lighting, equipment or what. I feel like their lighting was better in 2019 than it is in 2025.

I saw Robert Roode sitting on creative meetings on Unreal. Is he in the creative team??

He's a producer/agent. A lot of times those will sit in on meetings and be familiar with the creative process. He's become one of the top producers during his time there. He last wrestled over three years ago, and there haven't been any plans for him to return to the ring that I've heard. He's always been known for having a really great wrestling mind, as do many who came up in the Toronto area when he did.

Foodful select

Having directed live events for a long time in my previous job, I have been yelling at the screen every week for 6 years when it come to the directing of the shows. In many ways, directing is 50% technical skill and 50% feeling. You have to be a part of the flow of the matches, etc to really direct them well and anticipate when things are gonna happen. There are so many times when I'm screaming at the TV for certain shots they don't take, only for them to then take them 10 seconds too late. It is so frustrating how great these shows could look on TV if they had better directors (and improve the lighting and audio as well, but those are different conversations).
