Hi Sean, the Cena face turn seems a little abrupt even if they were putting clues out there. Do you think this was always the plan or recent decision?
It's certainly hard to believe that having an underwhelming heel run was always the plan. Almost nobody will go on the record to say what exactly the extent or original plan for the Rock and this angle were, but clearly he was supposed to have more involvement.
Theoretically if you were wwe, what would the process of finding your next in-house(def rebel,Mikey rukus) theme production be? Any qualifications, Indy artists? Does wwe provide the equipment to record?
AEW got very lucky with Mikey Rukus, and they still license a bunch of themes. If I were WWE, I'd have three sets of go to. All of which have a lot of experience. I'd have someone who specializes in rap, R&B and dance style music, another who specializes in Rock music, and a producer who can do a little bit of everything. It's clear that the people they have just aren't good.
Despite Cody’s comments about AEW recently, do you think Cody returns to AEW once his current contract expires?
I don't. Based on what I've heard there has been friendly contact at time over the years, but Cody seems very happy where he is. I don't think there issues are ones that won't ever be mended, but I just don't see it right now. I believe time heals all wounds and maybe there are some ways that things could be healed. He's still got a lot of friends in AEW.
