Big Karrion Kross and Scarlett update

Fightful Select has learned from sources backstage at WWE Raw that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are not at WWE Raw and aren't planned for the show. Beyond that, we've learned an update on their contract status.
Fightful Select is told by a WWE higher up that Kross and Scarlett's deals are up this weekend, and that a new WWE deal hasn't been offered to either of them. However, to our knowledge, they weren't informed that their contracts would be set to lapse.
We'll continue to monitor the situation.

My honest opinion on Kross is this think he’s a good promo but I am not high on him at all when he steps into the ring ultimately the bell has to ring. There’s a loud section of the crowd that do care about him & to that I sat fair play so if a situation arises where his deal isn’t renewed & he does leave the company, I’d like to think that section of the audience would follow his journey. I’ll say this about Kross I thought while his character work & presentation in WWE was always solid the in ring wasn’t good & look I’m not someone who thinks you need to have 5 stars matches every week but at a bare minimum you need to be average in ring & I do think he is below that. I thought the guy was over pushed in NXT & on his first main roster run never was given a fair chance. He got rehired got to work big feuds with Drew AJ & Sami the matches won’t good & I don’t think any of those 3 guys where the issue. If he does get to stay I will be happy for him & his fan base once he is only pushed at a mid card level. I get the feeling the Sami Zayn feud was a sink or swim moment for him to see if he could have a good match & ultimately the matches won’t good & ultimately I think the blame goes to Kross

2025-08-05 11:49:17 +0000 UTCThe smart thing to do would be giving him 2-3 young guys who struggle with talking but are great in the ring and let him lead a faction but this is WWE so 🤷♀️ He and Scarlet should be in MLW IMMEDIATELY if they are cut loose, they're natural fits there
