WWE Summerslam Updates: Media Day, Additional Events, Bron Breakker, Lyra

Chelsea Green, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest participated in a WWE Unreal watchalong with On Location customers.
Chelsea Green, Rhea Ripley and Sarah Schrieber were also at the public WWE tryouts.
This week wasn't the first public tryout WWE has done. Anthony Bowens, Bianca Belair and others actually participated in them. WWE has had them in Las Vegas at Summerslam and the Arnold Sports Festival.
Among the other names that were at the WWE tryouts, include VertVixen. She's a well traveled indie star who has done a number of AEW dates.
There was a two hour delay of the set construction Thursday. It was resumed by 4:45 PM.
WWE doesn't expect to have issues getting anyone in the city despite travel issues for the airports in the area.
Big E, Ron Killings and others appeared at a community event for the Boys and Girls Club.
Bron Breakker, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, R-Truth, Aleister Black, Lyra Valkyria, Solo Sikoa, All did media this morning.
Charlotte Flair told Fightful Select this morning that she has enjoyed the process of being in a tag team and getting to portray more of herself than a character.
The Wrestling Observer reported that there are rumors of CW and A&E interest in programming. There were some that we spoke to outside the company that had heard the CW rumor as of Thursday.
Again, to follow up, WWE higher ups claim Alberto Del Rio is not coming in to the company, and all talent that have contacted us say they don't expect it either.

Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker spoke with Fightful for a new interview at Summerslam media day.

He said last year was his first Summerslam, but he's ready to make new memories this year.
He said the most painful move he's taken is CM Punk's GTS, he said that Punk has a receipt coming after taking his world title shot.
It means a lot to him to be in the spot he's in, and he's excited to take a leadership role in the group. He's excited to do more promos and grow in that regard.
He didn't know anything about the process of WWE Unreal or what went into it.

Lyra Valkyria

Lyra tells Fightful that she's really happy to be able to have a long term rivalry with someone like Becky Lynch.
She's also happy about the different kinds of matches she's had involving Becky and Bayley, including singles, tag, street fights, triple threats and two out of three falls matches.
She loved WWE Evolution, and felt the support was lovely. She hopes they have another one soon.
She said if she could do an entrance swap with someone, she'd do GIulia's entrance, and she'd have Bron Breakker do her entrance.
