Is Andrade-Rey Fenix meant to be a longer term thing or just a temporary team to fill out the tag division?

It's the plan as of now. Smackdown is very tag team heavy right now, and WWE Raw could use some help, so I would imagine that at least one team ends up making the move sooner than later. WWE had always tentatively planned to have Penta and Fenix join one another down the line, but when they felt it made sense.

Any notable TNA contracts coming up in the calendar year?

Yes. Quite a few. Matt and Jeff Hardy, AJ Francis, Steve Maclin, Killer Kelly just to name a few. TNA has quite a few coming up. They also have more people on a per appearance basis than in quite some time.
