Speedball Mike Bailey
Sean Ross Sapp spoke to Speedball Mike Bailey about the Keep it Kayfabe documentary, which has a world premiere this week at San Diego Comic Con.
He said that filming the documentary over WrestleMania weekend 2023 helped him avoid having to Uber to all the events in Los Angeles. He joked that it ended up saving Brett Lauderdale some money. He spoke about the point of Keep it Kayfabe, to highlight the realities of pro wrestling, and answer the "is it fake" talking point that.
They also spoke about the psychology of striking and making it look as real as possible. Speedball said that in the movies, you can find angles in which you can avoid making contact. In pro wrestling, you have an audience on all four sides, and it requires a high level of experience and trust to execute it properly.
If you like wrestling psychology, you'll want to listen to this conversation.
The interview is up for early access for tier 2 members.
He also thinks there are better ways for Sean Ross Sapp to look nice than wearing a suit in Dallas heat.
