With WWE having a successful Evolution and a super hot crowd, do you think that AEW would want to do an all women's PPV? What is the overall likelihood of a show like that happening?
I don't see that happening any time soon. I could see them doing a themed Dynamite, Collision or ROH episode though. With AEW, it's a lot more than just "here's a PLE," it's making sure that the PPV will sell appropriately.
Is the plan now for Cope/Cage vs FTR to be the main draw for All Out Toronto?
I believe it is. I originally heard the plan was for this to kick off much sooner, but there were some delays in doing it. I'd even heard of Cope being discussed for a Double or Nothing return, but it was pushed back because Christian wanted to flesh out the Patriarchy story from what I understand.
On the AEW roster page, it now shows Swerve Strickland and Will Osprey as having the EVP titles. I had no idea that this match was for that stipulation. Can you give any insight on that?
It doesn't show them as that, and that was never the plan. They clarified in the weeks before AEW All In that it wasn't about Swerve and Ospreay becoming EVPs, it was about stripping the Bucks of their EVP status.

For an all women event in AEW, a max streaming special wouldn't be a bad idea.

2025-07-15 23:54:26 +0000 UTCHey Sean, any word on Shibata being shaken up? I noticed from the crowd on Saturday while all the Joe stuff was happening in the ring Shibata was being helped to the back by a Ref.
