Any updates on Cedric Alexander’s contract status with TNA and if there’s any planned surprises planned for Slammiversary

If he has a contract, nobody that I've spoken to has heard that, or has confirmed it as of yet.

Sorry for your loss sir! Danhausen’s contract was said to be expiring shortly. Do you know if it was at the end of June? Or was it a little later in summer yet?

His contract is slated to expire at some point in July, barring an extension or injury time added.

How does production determine who flys in to TV? Is it strictly only the people booked for appearing on tv, or do they fly in extra talent just in case? I'm so curious as to this part of the process

There are departments within the company that help configure a travel list. They're kept internally, and adjusted accordingly. AEW, WWE, TNA also brings in extras. For example: if you're in the Kentucky or Ohio area, you're probably seeing Kal Herro at these shows, and were seeing Luke Kurtis at a lot of them. In the Virginia/North Carolina area, companies will bring in talent like Brittany Jade and Emily Jaye. In Pennsylvania and the Northeast, people like David Goldy. That way they don't have to fly in people to do enhancement matches or serve as extras. Those are coordinated by people like Shawn Dean in AEW, and talent relations in WWE.

There are a number of talent that are also brought in just to be there. WWE typically uses those talent on camera to some degree.

Comments

I will never understand why Tk didn't use Danhausen.

Doogie

So Shawn Dean has a backstage role in addition to being a wrestler?
