Scenario A - While infiltrating an abandoned facility, Samus found something that looked like an inactive drone. As she examined it, it suddenly went active, choosing her as the host for it, where she was encased inside of it and ended up turned into a patrol drone.
Scenario B - During her mission to explore a what seemed to be an unexplored forest, she found a what seemed to be a harmless plant, and it went into hostile state by spitting its quick-hardening sap and wraps it leaves over her body.
