2021-11-26 19:58:48 +0000 UTCI appreciate the feedback and yes I understand the key to improving and feeling better about it is just to not think about it and do it only there's just alot going on with me that would take a long explanation. So i'll just sum it up as "my own fears of copyright, trying to come up with original ideas and lack of commitment due to overfocus on trival things and lack of a schedule just procrastinating." Is why i've spent the last 4 or so years since 2017 when I stopped drawing. I even looked back at my old drawings last week and realized I've been stuck at that point and i'm spending time trying to figure out how I can get to a point I can draw again. Thanks for the response.

Personally, the way i reconcile doing art and being bad at it is I think of buying expensive art supplies and sucking as my guilty pleasure. Sure, I might be wasting my time when i could do something more productive, and sure i didn't need to buy over 50 copic markers, but It's my guilty pleasure. NTM Art Artificial intelligences are coming, which means that professional artists will be put out of a job and computers will someday be able to objectively grade art and they can add an art skill into RPG games and the like. where AI Artists will be forbidden. Just imagine it, summoning through drawing a cute anime girl that pops out of your digital painting and fights for you. Sorry, went on a tangent. If you're curious about the AI though look up Two-minute papers on YouTube. He reads and makes videos on the AI research papers out there so he can show you what we can do already. So, to recap, DRAW if that what's fun to you. LEARN from YouTube tutorials if you want to get better, and DON'T let depression get to you.
