Summer Celebrations

Hi folks,

Wishing you the very best for the coming week from everyone at Rusty Towers!

This summer at Rusty Quill is one filled with Events and Panels as we get ready to celebrate our tenth anniversary in June!

Kicking off our summer of celebration is our 10 Year Anniversary Panel at MCM Comic Con on Sunday 25th May! The panel, which will be on the Live Stage at 3:15pm BST is hosted by Alexander J Newall, Martyn Pratt, Helen Gould and James Ross – some of the people who have been involved in the company and our podcasts from the earliest days of Rusty Quill Gaming. They’ll be looking back from Rusty Quill Gaming, The Magnus Archives, all the way through to The Magnus Protocol, and hosting Meet & Greets from 12:30pm BST.

Tickets for MCM are still available on the MCM website: https://www.mcmcomiccon.com/london/en-us/tickets.html

Next up on the Events docket is our Neon Inkwell panel at The Norwich Games Festival on 31st May!

Join the cast and crew of Rez High, an upcoming Neon Inkwell series, to find out how they worked to create immersive worlds, and to explore the video game history that inspired this story.

Rez High is set in the distant future, where a band of scavenging young adults find a vintage VR system that becomes their gateway to a surprising alien world: a gamified recreation of a 20th century high school.

Rez High grapples with timely questions about video games, from accessibility to representation, while sending its cast of irresistible characters on an adventure across both virtual realities and epic, post-apocalyptic landscapes.

In this panel, the cast and crew explore the video game history that inspired the story, unravel audio drama tricks used to create its immersive, exciting worlds, dive into some of the show’s big ideas - and even give a sneak peek at some of the gaming easter eggs hidden inside.

Rez High will release on the Neon Inkwell feed later in 2025. You can find out more about the event and purchase tickets on the Norwich Games Festival website.

Then of course, there is our Birthday Live Stream, hosted on our Twitch channel on Saturday 28th June 2025. This celebration of everything Rusty Quill will feature a host of special guests competing in Rusty Quill trivia, playing games and more! A true celebration of everything Rusty Quill from the last ten years, this absolutely isn’t one to miss!

To cap off the summer celebrations will be our now Sold Out The Magnus Archives event at the Lowry in Manchester with Alexander J Newall and Jonathan Sims.

You can read more about our tenth anniversary and stay up to date with everything we’re doing to celebrate on our dedicated website: https://rq10.rustyquill.com/

Thank you, from the whole of the Rusty Quill team, for being here this year to celebrate with us, and we hope that you are able to join us for at least one of these events in the next few months!

Have a good week all!

The Rusty Quill team

hi guys!! I was wondering, online it looks like only one show is “sold out” for the hilltop live show. but when i go to buy tickets for the other two days, nothing shows up. Are they sold out, too? And if so, will additional tickets be available the day of if some seats are filled? :))

These all sound wonderful! I wish I could be there in person but I can't :/ Is there any chance, the MCM panel will be recorded and available to watch for patreons?
