Added 2025-08-31 15:47:48 +0000 UTCYeah, just as your latest reminder: even though I still use the dub versions of names where applicable (because those are the names I learned first), I am actually watching the subbed versions of these episodes for comic purposes. And while the dub does include some scattered references to the previous seasons of the show as something the characters watched (and that's not even getting into using Davis as the narrator), the Japanese version only seems to acknowledge the games as being "real," with an emphasis on the cards.
And if it occurs to you that keeping the Tamers characters unaware of certain other branches of the Digimon franchise is probably good for continuity, then you'll really enjoy NEXT week's comic!
