Listener is a loner university student who misses classes and lives alone in his messy apartment. Natalie, who appears to be a young woman of roughly the same age, arrives and takes an interest in him, before admitting that she’s a synth sent by the university’s counseling center out of concern for his wellbeing. Listener is upset and she leaves, promising to return the next day after some ‘changes’.
